Death Stranding 2: Biggest Leaks Rumors
Walking across America can be lonely, and it can be extremely quiet. There’s a great soundtrack in Death Stranding thanks to Low Roar , who feature prominently in Kojima’s game. Low Roar’s songs only play in designated segments, which add a new layer of emotion to the scene. However, these songs are lost to the game after such sections are comple
Kratos has come a long way from being a ruthless God-Killer, and the reviled god of war in the Greek Pantheon. When Kratos continues his journey as a father and a grieving husband in God of War: Ragnarok , he is still far more reserved and trying his hardest to keep his rage bound to his closed heart. However, his emotion is told beautifully in his e
Across PC, PS4, and PS5 it has sold north of five million copies, which is incredibly impressive for a new IP and proof that Kojima is more than capable of dealing out bangers away from the likes of Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders. He remains one of the medium’s most fascinating creators, and that makes the idea of Death Stranding 2 all the more exciting. I dislike the trend of auteurs being placed on a pedestal above the hundreds of people it takes to make a modern blockbuster possible, but Kojima feels like one of the few exceptions to this rule. All of his weird, innovative ideas are present in his open world post-apocalyptic Amazon Prime simulator with little to no filter, whether we’re throwing our own piss at ghosts in the form of grenades or watching Norman Reedus in the shower before downing a six-pack of Monster. Anything is possible in Death Stranding because Kojima has created a studio that enables him, while working alongside a team that supports whatever he comes up with and delivers on it without question.
For the second time around, it would be great to actually see more landscapes unique to the American landmass. Dense forests of Redwoods, expansive deserts, and deep valleys. It's a treasure trove of geography to harness and could offer so many unique gameplay aspects, from rappelling down canyons to kicking up dust storms in a des
Most of the BT and MULE zones are directed in certain areas and are not entirely random. It would be great to see Death Stranding 2 integrate more threats to the world, whether that’s with a more dangerous variety of enemies or a more random placement of t
The Game Awards 2022 featured plenty of surprises and a myriad of announcements that prove that the gaming scene will be quite exciting in the upcoming year. One of the reveals came from Hideo Kojima, who gave gamers a glimpse of Death Stranding 2 . While a few past characters are making a return, the game also seems to be embracing new environme
Death Stranding 2 could be anything, and that’s the most beautiful thing any of us could hope for. With its predecessor a proven success, Kojima should have the creative freedom to build upon it in whatever way he sees fit. That’s a dangerous thing to consider, but also such an exciting one. The original game is so brilliant because it was unlike anything we’d ever played before, a deliberate attempt to exist outside the mainstream box while simultaneously standing alongside Sony’s other exclusives with little hesitation.
With Death Stranding 2 vehicles Stranding 2 (which is only a working title, by the way) recently announced, it can be interesting to think what Kojima Productions could possibly add to a game that felt so well-realised on the first run. If anything, it might be best for it to jump in a totally different direction rather than trying to one-up its predeces
The Last of Us Part 2 is a difficult game. Not only can it be a challenge for the gameplay, but the story of grief and revenge is hard to get through emotionally. There are incredible performances for the actors in The Last of Us Part 2 , and these performances are expertly and amazingly translated into a video game thanks to the team at Naughty
Death Stranding was an unproven experiment at the time and also one of the most ambitious triple-A titles operating within the traditional system we’d ever seen. Sony gave Kojima a blank cheque and allowed him to create whatever he wanted purely because his exclusivity was more than enough of a draw. I can’t think of many games where the finished product matches up to its reveal trailer so perfectly, making it clear that whatever he had in mind for the game was clear from the very beginning, and its relatively short development cycle was spent iterating upon the initial pitch until it became the game we know today.
Like its predecessor, Death Stranding 2 will be making use of the Decima engine , which has also been responsible for Guerrilla Game's Horizon franchise. The fact that the footage has been captured on PS5 suggests that the upcoming game will be a console exclusive, though this has yet to be confirmed. However, if it follows the pattern of the first game, it should eventually find its way to
