Lost Ark: Gunlancer Class Guide

Like our other Dungeon build guides, this is a pretty straightforward, entry-level build for the Deadeye. You don't have to rely too much on stats, Engravings, or abilities , as long as you have some decent gear and at least a few tiered-up AoE abilities.

The Deadeye goes hard with back attacks with the shotgun, so the Master of Ambush Engraving ( increases back attack damage by 25% at level 3 ) works very, very well with this class.

The Gunlancer is a heavy tank class that provides some shield buffs for your party, as well as by far and large one of the most useful skills in the game: a taunt . The Gunlancer also has a powerful shield that lets you ignore a lot, if not all, attacks - even those from bosses. This means you can stick right in the face of the boss, taking heavy hits (even staggers and knock-ups) while consistently doing damage. The class relies mainly on heavy burst damage with the Lone Knight Engraving or for consistent, sustained tanking with the Combat Readiness Engrav

As we've mentioned before, Stats aren't 100% crucial to a successful Dungeon clearing build with the Deadeye. Just go for a focus in Specialization to get the most out of your Enhanced Weapon class Engraving, and you'll be fine. We go over some more of the advanced stats stuff in our Raid build guide, as this is where things get trickier.

The Wardancer has applicable builds for both PvE and PvP, although she is typically more common as a PvP class. However, PvP is usually determined by a set template, so we've outlined a very simple skill build for the Wardancer below to give you an idea of what your build might end up looking like. We will go into more detail about abilities, leveling order, and runes in our best Wardancer build guides.
