Lost Ark: Wardancer Class Guide

The Scrapper is a big, punchy class with a lot of damage and utility - namely what we mentioned above, the Stagger buffs . Stagger is a mechanic in Lost Ark that allows players to knock down enemies and bosses. The Scrapper has this on the class' abilities as well as buffs for their teammates.

Lost Ark is finally here. After years of waiting, western audiences can finally hack and slash their way through Lost Ark's leveling and endgame experiences. Hundreds of quests, dozens of activities, and multiple progression systems will keep devoted players busy for hours.

The Esoteric Skill Enhancement engraving is hardly used at all. This is mostly because its mild damage buffs are just not as strong as the buffs from First Intention. However, using the First Intention engraving does mean some of those more interesting Esoteric skills are less impactful. As it currently stands, however, you will be hard-pressed to find a build that features the Esoteric Skill Enhancement engraving. First Intention is by far the more popular Engraving.
Collectibles aren't just a status symbol or filler content in Lost Ark. A Guardian Raid is an endgame activity where up to four players work together to take down a Guardian boss. Players have 20 minutes to find and kill the Guardian, and each Guardian boss comes with unique mechanics. This is one of Lost Ark's daily endgame activities, much in the same vein as Chaos Dungeons .
Your Stronghold is more than a player home in Lost Ark. Unlocked around level 25, this area serves as a base of operations that can craft battle items, unlock useful bonuses, and even complete endgame activities for you (albeit with fewer rewards). Be sure to use your life skills to gather materials for your Stronghold, and always have your Stronghold buildings actively progressing something.

The Sharpshooter is a ranged DPS class in Lost Ark - he relies on his bow and a Hawk to deal damage, dealing damage mostly from medium to long-range. A few close-range abilities are thrown in there for good measure.

Welcome to the Scrapper, an advanced class under the Martial Artist class. Once known as Infighter, the Scrapper is a release class for Lost Ark in NA/EU. It is similar in many ways to the other fighter classes, except the Scrapper comes with two huge fists for punching your enemies.

The Wardancer has applicable builds for both PvE and PvP, although she is typically more common as a PvP class. However, PvP is usually determined by a set template, so we've outlined a very simple skill build for the Wardancer below to give you an idea of what your build might end up looking like. We will go into more detail about abilities, leveling order, and runes in our best Wardancer build guides.

Unlike Chaos Dungeons, this activity highly encourages players to find a team. Clearing a Guardian Raid solo is not recommended. Build some flares from your Stronghold, bring your best gear, and prepare to hunt a giant monster.

Bonus damage based on your amount of Shock meter when the ability is activated

This is a sample PvE build for the Scrapper, based on the Shock Engraving. There are also two options for the Awakening skills.

Another familiar Engraving, Cursed Doll provides a solid 16% attack power boost at the cost of reduced healing (25%) when you use potions and other items. The tradeoff is worth it.

Lost Ark doesn't feature the traditional holy trinity of classes—DPS, healer, and tank. Tanks aren't really a thing in Lost Ark, and there are only two support classes in the NA/EU version (Paladin and Bard). Support classes are in hot demand in just about every server, so if you just want to pick a class that is highly valued at endgame, play a Bard or Paladin. If you want to play as a DPS, look for a class that mechanically or stylistically jives with you. There aren't any DPS comparisons or anything you need to worry about.
Engravings are a major source of character power in Lost Ark, granting build-enabling boons when active. Obtaining the best Engravings for your class is a massive time and Gold sink, one that can get exponentially worse if you end up chasing the wrong Engravings. Time is money in MMOs, and Lost Ark is no different. Before you start fracturing ability stones and dismantling jewelry, be sure that the Engravings you're chasing are worth using for your build.
