It’s not demo material or a novelty </del>release<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, but an uncompromising [https://Adventurequestlog.com/ adventure game strategy|https://adventurequestlog.com/] game that weaves an engrossing story while utilizing </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">full potential </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">motion control</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It doesn’t always work flawlessly</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sheer ambition alone makes it a must-own for Fable </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Kinect fans alike.

Sadly, I can tell you right now that this game suffers from many of the same problems </del>the original <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable had</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The in-game economy is still woefully simple</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the plot </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">many of the characters still lack depth, </del>and the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">world of Albion </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">all its glory still feels like it was laid out with anything but feng shui in mind</del>.<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">

Colorful </del>characters are <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">encountered along </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">way that assist </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">your travels</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">These characters range from mildly amusing </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">surprisingly developed</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One of the most emotional relationships </del>in the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">game </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">with your horse Seren</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">As she’s with you every step </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">way, willing </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">march into danger at your command</del>, a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">surprising bond </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">quickly formed. Camps are periodically reached </del>where<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, among other </del>things, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Seren can be feed</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">healed and cleaned. Touches like these really go along </del>way to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ensure she’s </del>not <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">rendered a lifeless form of transportation</del>.

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">
I always love trying games </del>that are <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">innovative</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">weird</del>, and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">unorthodox </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Erica was able </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">check all </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">those boxes</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">For </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">reason, it's still on my mind at </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">end </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">2019 despite </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">couple </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">problems. If you're done with Telling Lies </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">are looking for another intriguing FMV game, Erica should be on your radar</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The game</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">not </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">person</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">That'd be quite cre</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Despite first being announced in 2013</del>, and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">facing multiple delays that have set it back two years</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">gamers </del>are <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">still excited for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild . With the Nintendo Switch set </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">release </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">March 2017, Nintendo fans will have </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">opportunity </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">play </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new Zelda title on either the Wii U or </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new console-handheld hybrid. Hopefully</del>, the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">open-world Zelda game lives up to </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">years of hype it’s been build</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">For the past few years, Bethesda's E3 presentation has been a highlight of the show, offering fans a look at what the award-winning company has in store for the next year</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">This year's show will look to put many of the rumors surrounding the recently announced Fallout 76 to rest, give fans an extended look at Rage 2 , and offer some updates </del>for <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The </del>Elder Scrolls: <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Legends . Surprise game announcements and reveals are also expected, including </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">potential Fallout 3 remaster</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">so Bethesda may very well steal </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">show ag</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">From a technical standpoint, </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">graphics and music are both top notch</del>. The <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">games </del>only <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">real negative in this category </del>is that<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, more often than not, combat and controlling the character can feel </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">bit detached and clunky</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">While combat itself is rewarding, </del>with the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ability to switch between melee, magic</del>, and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ranged almost instantaneously </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">keep bad guys on their toes</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">actually controlling your character can be a frustrating occurrence</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">You will be plagued by </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">occasional cheap death</del>, but <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">thanks to </del>not <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">actually being able </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">die</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">you won’t </del>have <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">to worry about losing anything more than </del>some <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">experience points if you bite off more than you can chew. In the end, your enjoyment </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable II will hinge on what is important to you in this type of game</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">If </del>you <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">are looking </del>for <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">an engrossing story with loveable characters, this might not please you. However, if you are looking </del>for <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">an impressive gameplay experience with tons of replayability</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I could not recommend Fable II more. While it may have, once again, fallen short of being a classic, it </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a large improvement over the first game despite its numerous weak points</del>.

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Of course, I did not have </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">time nor </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">patience to get through every single </del>game that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">came out this year</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">That means </del>some <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">notable releases like Resident Evil 2</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Gears 5 </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and DualShockers ' Game of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Year Judgment did not make my list. Some great games were also just barely beat out</del>, but <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">d still recommend Ape Out, Baba is You, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11 if you are looking for a good time. Without further ado, here are my 10 favorite games of 2</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">
As far as E3 2018 press conferences go, Microsoft</del>'s <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is mostly shrouded </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">mystery</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Some leaks have suggested that Gears </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">War 5 will be announced at </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">event, but otherwise, Microsoft has managed to keep its cards close to its chest. Forza Horizon 4 is the only </del>game <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fans are guaranteed to see at E3</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but there</del>'s a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">possibility some of Microsoft's biggest franchises, including Halo and Fable , could also make appearances and Crackdown 3 will likely be </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">part </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the s

The daunting task of giving them classic they wanted was left up </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Peter Molyneux and his team</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and the task may have not have seemed that difficult for them. The original Fable presented an amazing amount </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">detail </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the world</del>, but <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it simply seemed to </del>fall <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">short on a few key areas. All they had to do this time around was expand on the good and improve on these problems and they would have a game etched </del>into <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the upper echelon </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the new generation.</del>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Of course</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it’s no secret that Fable is </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">great game</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">so the most important aspects </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this </ins>release <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is if it's aged well (read above) and </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">quality </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the port</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Simply put</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">result is leaps </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">bounds above </ins>the original. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fidelity</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">special effects </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">lighting have all improved </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it’s clear to see </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">differences </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">almost every area</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Upgrades to </ins>characters <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and building exteriors </ins>are the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">most noticeable, with faces seeming more realistic and less pixelated and buildings revealing never-before-seen nuances. Even trees </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the backgrounds and leaves on the pathways of villages are more detailed</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Everything has a smooth look which gives it a nice overall aesthetic comparable </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">other Xbox 360 games</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The only flaw </ins>in the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new look </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that sometimes things can be a bit too smoothed over and come across a little smeary</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Sometimes the sharp edges </ins>of the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">original helped </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">keep objects separated</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">something that can sometimes be </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">problem here. The other continually noticeable boost </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the lighting, with plenty of new shadow effects and nuances between different lighting situations, </ins>where <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as before </ins>things <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">were basically light or dark. Overall</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">while it’s not perfect and hampered by the fact that practically every Xbox 360 game now looks long in the tooth</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it’s certainly the preferable </ins>way to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">experience the game — nostalgia or </ins>not.

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">In fact, it’s such a classic that describing such a widely-known story seems irrelevant until you realize </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">there </ins>are <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">prospective gamers who weren’t even out of diapers when the game was originally released</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">so here goes: Fable sees you take the role of "The Hero of Oakvale" who begins his quest as an unassuming boy until his village is brought to ruins by invading barbarians. The hero survives and is rescued by an even older hero named Maze. Maze sees great potential in the boy and takes him under his wing at the Heroes’ Guild. The hero grows up here</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">honing his skills </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">training for the perils that lie ahead. When he’s finally old enough, he sets off on his quest </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">can choose </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">either be the savior </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Albion or its reckoner</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">This is of course the major gimmick of Fable, a game </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">allows you to choose </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">path </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">your character throughout their entire life. It was </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">concept that was ahead </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">its time in 2004 and remains interesting even after ten years </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">countless imitators</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Of course</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it’s major flaw is still the missed potential that was put in the spotlight thanks to </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">endless hyperbole from Peter Molynex</ins>.

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Gameplay itself is a nice blend of action elements with those traditional to an RPG. On the offense, a melee weapon</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">long range weapon </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">magical will powers are always available, each assigned to a different face button. For defense</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">numerous gear combinations </ins>are <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">available </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ensure you’ll always be protected </ins>in the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">heat of battle. Plus you can block and roll. Enemies tend </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">rush you and offer quite a challenge for those unfamiliar with </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">proper strategies. Grinding isn’t a common occurrence, but going into battle well stocked with items is always necessary. While it’s not </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">deepest system</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it’s still arguably </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">best one in </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable series and remains enjoyable today.</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">And then there was Skyrim </ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">While we don’t know if </ins>for <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sure </ins>Elder Scrolls: <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Skyrim will make an appearance during </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">press conference</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">one would assume that given Bethesda’s previous success with launching Oblivion on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Xbox 360 console first, that Skyrim would be touted as more connected with Micros</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One of the main reasons </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">story falls so flat is your character’s infinite silence</ins>. The only <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">way to communicate with other characters </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">through a series of expressions </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">only really serve to illicit </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">base reaction from any NPC that sees them without any real discourse</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Sure using the right expression will curry favor </ins>with the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">townspeople of Albion</ins>, and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the wrong one will help </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">make them view you are boorish and rude</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but it helps to illustrate the core issue with Fable II’s system. The [https://Adventurequestlog.com/ adventure game puzzles|Https://adventurequestlog</ins>.<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">com/] becomes about </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">choices you make</ins>, but not <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">necessarily about the characters that those choices may alter. Due </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the one-dimensional townspeople and lack of real interaction</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">scenes that should </ins>have some <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">amount </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">emotional resonance fall significantly short</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The only real feeling </ins>you <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">have </ins>for <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">any character is </ins>for <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">your faithful canine companion</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and even that </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">tenuous</ins>.

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable Heroes feels like a cash grab in </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">truest sense of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">word — a </ins>game that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">has no business carrying the Fable moniker</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">While each entry in the franchise does fall short of </ins>some <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">lofty expectations </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">they at least aspire to do something original. Fable Heroes </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">other hand, gets a few things right</ins>, but <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">they</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">re not worth your t</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">While Fable proper was about taking one</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">player through a pre-determined life cycle — making life-altering decisions along the way — Fable Heroes puts up to four players </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control of a wide variety of Fable archetypes</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Rather than giving each player the gameplay mechanics present in the RPG version </ins>of the game, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Heroes designates each player</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"puppet hero" with </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">specific skill. There are </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">handful </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">puppets </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">choose from</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">some </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">which hearken back </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">key moments in Fable 's history</ins>, but <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">all basically </ins>fall into <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">one </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">three roles (ranged, melee, mag</ins>
New page
With a sprawling, graphically intense world part of a near fifteen-hour campaign, Fable: The Journey breaks any conceptions of what a Kinect title can be. It’s not demo material or a novelty release, but an uncompromising [https://Adventurequestlog.com/ adventure game strategy|https://adventurequestlog.com/] game that weaves an engrossing story while utilizing the full potential of motion control. It doesn’t always work flawlessly, but the sheer ambition alone makes it a must-own for Fable and Kinect fans alike.

Sadly, I can tell you right now that this game suffers from many of the same problems the original Fable had. The in-game economy is still woefully simple, the plot and many of the characters still lack depth, and the world of Albion in all its glory still feels like it was laid out with anything but feng shui in mind.

Colorful characters are encountered along the way that assist in your travels. These characters range from mildly amusing to surprisingly developed. One of the most emotional relationships in the game is with your horse Seren. As she’s with you every step of the way, willing to march into danger at your command, a surprising bond is quickly formed. Camps are periodically reached where, among other things, Seren can be feed, healed and cleaned. Touches like these really go along way to ensure she’s not rendered a lifeless form of transportation.

I always love trying games that are innovative, weird, and unorthodox and Erica was able to check all of those boxes. For that reason, it's still on my mind at the end of 2019 despite a couple of problems. If you're done with Telling Lies and are looking for another intriguing FMV game, Erica should be on your radar. The game, not the person. That'd be quite cre

Despite first being announced in 2013, and facing multiple delays that have set it back two years, gamers are still excited for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild . With the Nintendo Switch set to release in March 2017, Nintendo fans will have the opportunity to play the new Zelda title on either the Wii U or the new console-handheld hybrid. Hopefully, the open-world Zelda game lives up to the years of hype it’s been build

For the past few years, Bethesda's E3 presentation has been a highlight of the show, offering fans a look at what the award-winning company has in store for the next year. This year's show will look to put many of the rumors surrounding the recently announced Fallout 76 to rest, give fans an extended look at Rage 2 , and offer some updates for The Elder Scrolls: Legends . Surprise game announcements and reveals are also expected, including a potential Fallout 3 remaster, so Bethesda may very well steal the show ag

From a technical standpoint, the graphics and music are both top notch. The games only real negative in this category is that, more often than not, combat and controlling the character can feel a bit detached and clunky. While combat itself is rewarding, with the ability to switch between melee, magic, and ranged almost instantaneously to keep bad guys on their toes, actually controlling your character can be a frustrating occurrence. You will be plagued by the occasional cheap death, but thanks to not actually being able to die, you won’t have to worry about losing anything more than some experience points if you bite off more than you can chew. In the end, your enjoyment of Fable II will hinge on what is important to you in this type of game. If you are looking for an engrossing story with loveable characters, this might not please you. However, if you are looking for an impressive gameplay experience with tons of replayability, I could not recommend Fable II more. While it may have, once again, fallen short of being a classic, it is a large improvement over the first game despite its numerous weak points.

Of course, I did not have the time nor the patience to get through every single game that came out this year. That means some notable releases like Resident Evil 2, Gears 5 , and DualShockers ' Game of the Year Judgment did not make my list. Some great games were also just barely beat out, but I'd still recommend Ape Out, Baba is You, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11 if you are looking for a good time. Without further ado, here are my 10 favorite games of 2

As far as E3 2018 press conferences go, Microsoft's is mostly shrouded in mystery. Some leaks have suggested that Gears of War 5 will be announced at the event, but otherwise, Microsoft has managed to keep its cards close to its chest. Forza Horizon 4 is the only game fans are guaranteed to see at E3, but there's a possibility some of Microsoft's biggest franchises, including Halo and Fable , could also make appearances and Crackdown 3 will likely be a part of the s

The daunting task of giving them classic they wanted was left up to Peter Molyneux and his team, and the task may have not have seemed that difficult for them. The original Fable presented an amazing amount of detail to the world, but it simply seemed to fall short on a few key areas. All they had to do this time around was expand on the good and improve on these problems and they would have a game etched into the upper echelon of the new generation.
